• Move the lever up or down to set your initial cruise speed. 
• As you navigate Sterling Heights, you can push the lever up or down to change the speed by one mile per hour. Push the lever up hard to change the speed by five miles per hour instead.
• Push the lever away from you or push the brakes to cancel your cruise control settings in an instant.
• To adjust the following distance, use the knob at the end of your lever. Your central screen will display your current following distance.
• If surrounding traffic stops suddenly, the DISTRONIC PLUS® system will automatically stop your car to avoid a collision. Resume the system by tapping the gas or pulling the lever toward you.
